Im working on my macbook, and Im fairly new to MIDI so I have a few questions.

I have Reason, Reaktor, Logic Pro, and Ableton Live.

How do I efficiently combine all of these into one functioning "unit" persay, so that I can use all of them and record all of them at the same time?

Thanks,

LODAYP

With multiple softsynth setups becoming more common, it's curious that this isn't better supported by sound interface manufacturers or even the OS.

A start for the multiple DAW + reactor thing would be to start up IAC Driver (do a search on IAC driver here, Acoustic Interloper has made a post somewhere). Then decide which of your programs should be the tempo master, and configure it so it sends MIDI synch to the IAC driver. Configure the others to recieve MIDI sync from IAC driver.

Then, if you want to record everything into a single DAW, download Jack OSX and set up an audio channel there. Configure the recording DAW to record from Jack OSX, and the others to send their audio to Jack OSX.

/Stefan
