Subject description: Secret shift fonctions

Just bought a new Rack 2x yesterday and when I was programing it I noticed that if you hold the shift button and then hit the filter type button it turns on all the filters, or something like that. Whatever it is it sounds pretty cool. I couldn't find a description of this in the manual so I became curious and started hitting all the buttons while holding shift. Funny things started happening that I don't quite understand. I can't find any info in the manual about these secret shift functions so maybe someone who knows more than I do could help me out here.
Also, you know the way notes get stuck and they won't stop playing. That keeps happening to my Rack 2X and it never happened to my Rack 2, what's up with that. Thanks for the help.

welcome Shane O'Donovan

Some info about the secrets at http://nm-archives.electro-music.com/020_NordLead2/023_Miscellaneous/NordLeadSecrets.htm

About the stuck notes. Does the Rack receives more Midi data then just one?

Wout

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I'm sending midi to all four parts but that shouldn't be a problem. I'm pretty sure this was never a problem with my Rack2.

Try to set the Midi Global to a higher channel then the 'normal' Midi. Maybe this helps...

If this doesn't help be sure only Slot A is active (blinking)
