I really need to change the keyboard on my Nord Lead 3, as the stuck key problem has rendered it useless.

I have tried to contact Clavia a couple times but no response yet. I have called various local repair shops but they say they cannot get the part I need and that I need to take the synth to them to see what's wrong with it - I know I can fix it myself, but I need to find the keyboard part. The keyboard is either a 49-key Fatar TP/7BA or a TP/9S.

If anyone knows where I can buy it, please let me know. I'm willing to buy it overseas if needed, I just want to play my NL3 again.

why not write to Fatar and ask them about the specific model used for Nord Lead 3 and the distributors/stores near you selling it?

hola fac!, if you are sure the keyboard is fatar, you can get the same model here:
http://www.analoguehaven.com/doepfer/mke/

pretty good customer service and fast shipping to mexico via usps with tracking#

...second thought, maybe you just want to replace the bubble contacts? that'll be harder to get I guess.

btw. where are you from? mexico city here.

Hola. Soy de San Luis Potosí.

I´ve already contacted Hermes Music, which is the Clavia distributor/service center in México. They said they would try to find the part, but they did not know if they could sell it direclty to me or I should take the synth to their service center. I'll wait a few days for their answer.

I'm pretty sure the problem is not in the bubble contacts. I remved and disassembled the keyboard and the problem didnt go away, so I'm 99% sure the problem is in the green board with the key contacts. I've searched various sites, and even found a place that sells spare keys and bubble conctacs, but they didn't sell the boards. I prefer to buy a whole new keyboard and keep the old one as spares.

me again, I think its unlikely that the trouble is on the board, if it was working fine before... unless you driven a car into the synth Smile but who knows... have you tested for the wiring/connectors from the keyboard to the synth? maybe there's a shot there.

I bought it second hand, and it has had that problem since the day I received it, so I have no idea if it was working fine before. Sad
