These optocouplers at Electronics Goldmine are marked NSL 7053. From what little I can find, they seem to be Silonex NSL-32 optos. $.69 each, good price if you need some. I ordered 20 Smile

What do you use them for. Can they replace vactrols?

yep, they are optocouplers (led/cds cell) just like vactrols.

I dropped Silonex a line to find out exactly which they might be. The only reference I've found thus far was this:

ordered a nsl-32 (has nsl 7053/ SR2/ 15B on.. no '32' at all-?)

NSL is Silonex's prefix for their optocouplers.

Here's their page.

Hmmm, that's weird. Small Bear sells NSL-32's for slightly more than .69$ a piece, but I'm pretty sure they are NOS. Interestingly enough, they also have a variety of Silonex photocells that also bear an NSL prefix. Strange indeed. Have to look at some datasheets.

Not yet but I'm hoping to hear back from Silonex. As soon as I know, you'll know Smile

...together with the NSL-32SR3 version, which has better specs.
