What about C1? Shouldn't that also be 1uF since it looks like a DC blocking cap?

I was actually thinking of getting rid of C1 altogether. This would make it a partly DC coupled unit, and therefore able to be used on CVs. I'm not sure why you would want to, but someone might find it useful.

I must say, Uncle, it is a really elegant little circuit. Do you mind if I add it to the EChucK collection? Do you know about EChucK?

Go for it, it aint rocket science! Laughing
What's EChuck again?

EChucK is a ChucK-inspired synthesizer that I've created. Right now the circuit boards are being made at the board house. The idea is to smash a synthesizer into smithereens such that you have little kewl circuits that are hooked together into an electronic "sculpture" that is it's own block diagram.

I have the PIC modules done, and now I'm looking for useful analog modules to add to it, and a simple guitar fuzz circuit with flashing LEDs would be a cool addition. That is, once I get back to working on it.

Unfortunately I'm very cash limited at the moment so work on EChucK is slowing down - I'll get boards but can't buy parts for another month. sigh. Oh well, Rome wasn't built in a day.
