Reply with quote  Mark this post and the followings unread

Hi,

I created a utility for myself last night and thought I'd share it in case its of any use to anyone else. What it does is take your patches and automatically assign midi CCs to the assigned knobs (useful forlazy/forgetful types like me Wink )

welcome KidQuaalude and Chris too Wink

It sounds like an interesting tool, only I can't find my way in that 'download' page where a mouse arrow is trying to tell me something...
Maybe you have another link?

At http://nm-archives.electro-music.com/010_NordModular/016_Miscellaneous/AddSoft/
you'll find some more tool dedicated to the Nord Modular Classic and sometimes assigning CC#, so there do exist some and I want to compare...

BTW these Archive pages are mixed up a little by a migration some years ago... Still has to fix it, but not enough time Sad

Wout

hi wout, the download page has a 3-letter captcha you need to enter. maybe its not displaying for you?

had a quick look at the other software, my utility is most like the NordControllerMapper but not quite as configurable.

i should note - use the program at you own risk! Wink works great for me tho. Smile

just updated the program to fix a bug where knobs that were already assigned a CC did not get overwritten with the new CC number (also added an option to allow this to happen) and added support for automatically mapping the sustain (on/off) pedal to a controller (hard-coded to cc#4).

there is also a readme file in this release with instructions on how to use the program.
