I have just bought an edirol fa-101 and everything seems to work just fine, until I started tunes and checked the levels coming into my mixer. The edirol is clipping.
The output settings on my computer are, the same as they were, all on 0db.

The signal is extremely loud coming into the edirol and with most mp3 it clips. It is not extremely distorting the sound, but I have to turn the fader on my mixer down a lot to get it to a reasonable level.

Has anyone any experience with the edirol fa-101 and can anybody give me some advice.

The work around I found is, simple, turning all the faders down a bit, both in audio/midi setup and itunes, but with other audio interfaces I am always able to just put it to 0db!?

Help!
