I've got a ESI Midimate and I wanted to use it to edit my NM1.

I need to use a hub and ESI Midimate won't work when connected to a hub. It works when connected to the computer. Other interfaces works though the hub. (Actually I tried three hubs)

Anyone who can recommend another "boxless" [*] midi-interface that really works fine with NM1 and hubs?

[*] With boxless I mean interfaces that are made of only midi connectors/usb connector and a cord between.

i just noticed that my recently purchased Edirol UM-2EX doesnt work either through a hub - after a frustrating couple hours of troubleshooting. grrr.

many 328 and 446 errors....

even worse - i just found out that the 2UMEX only works on one of the USB ports on my MacBookPro (the left one). .

im forgetting which hardware is outdated... Rolling Eyes
