Hi guys. I've been playing with synths and sequencers for a few years now and found you can't beat good old analogue.

After reading an article in Sound on Sounds i've decided to try and put together a modular system (probably Doepfer) and was wondering if anyone knows of any good books for beginners about what type of gear i need to make a basic starting system, how to hook it all together, how to go about creating sounds from scratch etc.

Any help is appreciated.

Mike
