i just ordered some module kits and need to order parts to complete them. wondering where most people order their bits and bobs from.

i used to go to conrad (here in berlin), but am tired of the grumpy electromeisters and realizing some things get to be expensive there.

any other good sources for ordering components like knobs/switchs/pots/etc? thanks in advance.

Maybe a long shot: I order from swedish online stores - it might currently be a good deal for you because of the poor value of the swedish crown (causing me grief with my current order for a modular system from Curetronic), even though you'll get to pay german VAT on your orders. Looking at Electrokit's web page it seems like they ship abroad:

http://www.electrokit.se/

..though it might be a bit of an issue that everything is in swedish Wink Maybe try sending them an email? They're based here in Malmö at the southern tip of Sweden, so the shipping distance isn't very great.

Another swedish store I've used is Elfa, but that seems to be part of something with a german branch (https://www.distrelec.de).

Look at Banzai ( berlin), there is another one, forgot the name.
Banzai is anyway best for capacitors.
you get also pots ( aplha) and knobs, but on this Musikding is better.

reichelt is cheapest, and as a german you have not the problems we forreigners have.
some parts are crap from reichelt

those sources should give you nearly all you need.
If more special parts are needed, then in the US: Mouser, small bear and some others.
6110 for example you get from small bear
