Thank you kindly.
I will have a play with it and also replace the master oscillator with a live input to see how that works. _________________ Muied Lumens Sub Forum

Thanks, being new to Kyma and this website I appreciate the tutorials.
How about now controlling the sound with an ADSR triggered by !KeyDown and the base oscillator's pitch via !KeyPitch? |

Actually I am beginning to think what I said above is incorrect
The Reset field of the oscillator is not acting how I thought it should.
I Am thinking about it.. |

Not a problem, I appreciate the successes as well as failures. Regardless of whether you achieved your goal, I came across some interesting sounds due to your tutorial.
The miss-steps are as important as the steps.
Thank you. |

Now in terms of the ADSR question. This is from memory. If I make a mistake I will correct.
1) Command/Apple b and search for product
2) Drag it onto the line exiting the oscillator on the right. Make sure that you do not drag it to the + symbol.
3) Command/Apple b and search for ADSR, and drag onto the oscillator that was created when added the product prototype
4) Click on the ADSR and if "!KeyDown" is not in the gate field add it.
4) If you are using a wacom tablet and want the gate to be triggered via PenDown use "!PenDown" instead of "!KeyDown" |

Hi Guys,
The problem may be the reset field not running at audio rate, not quite sure yet.
I have asked on the SymbolicSound forum, you can follow this at http://www.symbolicsound.com/cgi-bin/forumdisplay.cgi?action=displayprivate&number=7&topic=000301
P.S. We are all beginners here!

The control rate in Kyma is somewhere around 1 kHz IIRC, so if that is the only barrier it should work in some cases, but I have not yet had time to look deeper into this specific problem. Still going through the manual, learning the specifics of the timeline. _________________ Muied Lumens Sub Forum
