hi all,

i'm trying to get this sorted for a while. if i open a designed patch which has morph groups set up, the Knobs and the sound has the expected behaviour:
several parameters are changing at the same time with 1 Knob tweaking.
but when I try to add parameters to a morph group myself (parameters get the same colour code + master morph Knob is assigned) it wont work.

i can see the master morph Knob moving in the editor but there is no change in sound.

any idea?

thx
detomaso

When you add the new knob to the morph group are you also remembering to set the morph RANGE for this knob? You should see the knob change color to match the morph group, like red for group 1, and it should be a light red for some of the knob and a darker red for a wedge-shaped segment indicating the high and low ends of the morph range. If the whole knob is light red there is no range set, and thus no change in the parameter value when you change the morph group value.

welcome detomaso

And there is also a limit of 25 parameters which can be morphed.
If you are in need of more groups look at the article Dave once wrote at
http://nm-archives.electro-music.com/010_NordModular/014_Interesting_Threads/Folder/5thMorphGroup/5thMorphGroup.htm

It is scrambled, so better take a look at the zip file here.

I hope to start this x-mas to clean the archive...
