Can someone please help me with this? I am using sysex librarian program to send the .syx files to my nord lead 2x over midi. I have a motu ultralite interface and i have a midi cable going from the interface midi out to the nl2x midi in.

I am able to 'send' the programs from the sysex librarian, but nothing changes on my nl2x. What settings do i need on my nord to upload a new bank (midi channel etc?) I checked the manual but didn't find much help.

thanks!

welcome sethsc

I can't over see your complete set up, but two things pop up in my mind:

1 set the Global Midi [Shift+2xUnison] and scroll to channel 16
2 is the librarian able to send Midi? Better use a DAW like CuBase or Logic.

Which answer?
1 Global Midi channel?
2 Using DAW?
3 Going early to bed? Wink

BTW tell us your opinion about Andi Vax's sound bank.

The global midi channel setting is what worked.

I like the Andi Vax sound bank so far. My biggest qualm with the NL2x has always been the presets - the lack of organization of them as well as the sounds themselves just sounding a little '90s' and being full of dumb arpeggiation etc.

I think the presets from Andi take better advantage of the unique character
of the nord and the VA side and are very useful as starting points.
