Nord Stage EX as Masterkeyboard Use with LOGIC 9

Hi,

i latly pruchased a Nord Stage EX 76.
I am not using this keyboard live i am using it mainly as a masterkeyboard in the studio.
Of course i know the Nordstage might be not the perfct tool for that, but it was the only one i could found below the size of 1,20 m...
However this is my problem:

The nordlead has sections : piano, organ synh ect.
Some sounds are created with 2,3 or 4 layers.
I like the internal sounds and would like to use them beside other external sythns or softwars stuff.

While recording with a sound with more than one layer (e.g. sound no. 5:5 Los angels) it will record inside logic each hitten key 3 times.
That means if i open the MATRIX editor or the EVENT Editor in Logic i have all Notes 3 times laying over each other making editing really bad...

However even recording (without changing the sound of the Nordlead) e.g. a Software sythn or any other sound device this will also apear now 3 times, or 2 times depending on how many layers the internal sound of the Nordlead is set while playing it and using it as a controler.

I do believe that each layer in the nordstage has its own midichannel - which is been kinda merged if recording on ONE track in Logic but actually show in the edit windows it 3 times ...

IF i use a single layerd sound of course i have this problem NOT.

I also have the impression that once i am playbacking the Nordstage with a multilayer sound that on chords one note of an layer is been cuted allthough its been played of course smae lenght as all others, coz it palyed in same time.

What i want is:

1. the nordlead to send out just on one layer or channel (whatever) no matter what internal sound is used and playback the internal sounds correctly (if more layers used)
For that is there any GLOBAL setting possible?

By pushing of e.g. LOCAL OF does not change the numbers of midichannels sended if i control an external synth.

2. is there any settings i might have wrong inside Logic, or the MIDI set up?
Midi is conected to AMT4 , one in/out port, Midi set up: 16 ch recieve and Send...
( i tried to make the send channel on only 1 and recieving from 1-16, this does NOT change the problem...

I don't recall Lost Angels right now...
does it happen even if the layers are, for example, just two sounds in the Synth section?
I mean, if you have a piano and a synth layered, the Stage can be set to transmit a different midi channel for each layer.

I can't think of anything else right now, maybe you already checked this in the main menu.
