A bit OT but who knows, this one might be of interest to some anyway.

Transform 2004 is a world conference that will explore the latest developments and most successful outcomes in assistive technology.

It will bring together all those involved in using hardware and software to help people with special needs or disabilities to live and learn: practitioners, researchers, policy makers, commercial developers, technology users and international leaders.

Transform 2004 will be held at UMIST, Manchester, Wednesday 7th July to Saturday 10th July 2004.

They are now registering for delegates and have a special offer: be one of the first five hundred delegates to register for Transform 2004 - Christopher Reeve is delegate number #1. Register now and you will get a guaranteed place to hear his keynote address in UMIST's 500 seat theatre and you save £50 on your registration fee. See the numbered delegate list to find how many places are left. Other conference sessions where demand exceeds supply will be allocated on a registration order basis. If you are accepted to give a paper, presentation, workshop, or poster session you will receive a refund of £50 on your registration fee; have two accepted and you save £100. This applies equally to exhibitors, assistive technology users, researchers and practitioners like teachers, therapists and engineers.

I do not have an URL for this one.. a google is called for?
