I wonder which synth is more powerfull, the Nord Lead 3 or the Roland JP8000 ? How do they compare ? Which one has better sounds ? etc

NL3 for sure. JP8000 has only 8 Voices compared to 20 in the NL3. JP8000 has no FM. It is just a single synth, NL3 is 4 seperated synths. NL3 has more Morphing power.

That's a matter of taste. IMHO the JP8000 is mostly used in trance music due to it's SuperSaw sound. I have a feeling that's the only thing it's been used for. Anyway, the NL makes a much better SuperSaw, although it is much clearer than the somehow what fuzzer JP8000.

The JP8000 is much beter sold, so one can find these more easily on the second hand market. You have to be lucky to spot a NL3...
