Hi everyone,
i am a spanish happy NL2Rack owner. I love this forum, i have learned a lot of things. I have a question for you.

Time ago my NL began to have this strange problem:
when i switch it on the switches dont work properly. I need to press it a lot of times every switch (4-5 times, sometimes more) before they began to work as usual. Using a midi controller there is no problem. It happens with all the switches...

If i turn it off and let it for some time it happens again.

There is someone with the same problem? any idea of solving it? Only one more thing, i suspect that it began to happen after using for the first time the "hidden filter" option.
i am cleaning the circuits and the switches one by one this days.

thank you.

Hi,
i have tested it and it seems to work ok!
so, it would be probably a matter of dust in the metal contacts, but i will be looking for the next days, because probably it will happen again...

i recommend all NL owner with some electrician skills to open their nord and clean it (it's so easy, swedish excellent design!), mine looks now better than new!

For those who never lifted the hood, see
http://nm-archives.electro-music.com/020_NordLead2/Red_Lady/Index_bestanden/Red_Lady/Weighted_part_2.htm
at section 2 and the link in there to
http://nm-archives.electro-music.com/020_NordLead2/Red_Lady/Index_bestanden/Red_Lady/115-230_vica_versa.htm
which is about the same issue.

Wout
