Hello!

I need some advices from you!

I have a Nord modular G1, that I love but upgrading my computers (mac)... I get difficulties to load patches into the G1 even though I use the new java editor provided by the community... its more a technical problem from my side rather than a editor pb Sad

This issues make me feel bad about synth connected to computer (like the ti virus snow .. which I have other pb with USB connexion!!! and an User interface complex on my screen)....

Note that I tried several synth.. and it is the clavia sound that I like.

** So I wonder if I should buy a Nord Lead 2X Rack (I found a second hand one from 450dollars next to my town) while I have already a G1?

** Difficult to answer but shall you advice me another synth , autonome, that would complete my setup? I not looking too much for moog style more ms 20 filter ... or telemark? .. but with memory capabilities to save patches.

Cheers!

I use the combination NM1 and NL2.
I would say a Lead is a better addition than a Rack, because of the keys and special the PitchStick.
Soundwise they are brother and sister.

Thanks for your answers!

I started looking at Nord Lead 2X Rack on the web and in shops... but at the same time I meet a guy who build 3 kits of the mutable instrument Shruti-1...
I am impressed by this machine.

He proposed me a good price for one box. I think I will rather go for the mutable machine...

Tommorrow, I will anyway test the nord rack 2X Wink in a shop that sell a nord rack 2X -- second hand one -- but too expensive price compared to what I could get on the web! This is why I also prefer for the moment to buy the little shruti.
