Well, I broke down and got Cubasis. I have to say I'm pretty pleased with it...though I'm not sure why they only allow delay times (in the delay effect) to be synchronized to tempo clock.... Question

I've been using Beatmaker II and Meteor and so far I'm getting on better with Cubasis. Maybe it's because of the years of experience Steinberg has at Daw development making a smoother user experience?. The included Micrologue synth is very usable, for a basic synth.

I'm hoping that when Auria adds midi sequencing it will be as easy to work with.

A common workflow that seems to have emerged in the IOS community is using Cubasis for the bulk of recording work - because of the nice UI, then export tracks to Auria for mastering, because Auria comes with some nice mastering plugins from PSP, as well as a selection of optional mastering plugins from FabFilter and others for in-app-purchase.

Alternatively, I've read enthusiastic reviews for Igor Vasiliev's Audio Mastering app - from people use use that instead of Auria for mastering.
