Hey there,
just getting into the Arduino, and it's a lot of fun! Recently found the Mozzi library for synth/sampling applications... It's awesome. One example I really like is the "sample_loop_points" found here:

https://sensorium.github.io/Mozzi/examples/#08.Samples

This sketch is written so the start point, end point, and pitch of a loaded sample are modified randomly. I'd like to be able to control these parameters with pots, though. Pretty new to coding and such... Can anyone give me a nudge in the right direction on how to accomplish this?
Thanks!

I downloaded the Mozzi library and took a small peek at it. I don't know much about it or the arduino, although I have dabbled a bit. I don't know if my experience will be helpful, but maybe.

I hooked up sliders to a mux/demux chip for the fun of it as part of the start of a midi controller project. The mux/demux is not necessary though. My sketch would read the sliders and map them to various ranges. I got as far as having the sliders do things like scroll through parameters and display values using an LCD.

I am the farthest thing from an expert you can imagine, but it seems to me that in place of a random value in the sketch, you can use a pot like I did, map it to the range of values you want, maybe do some math to get increments that work, and feed it in where a random value would go.

I hope that's enough of a nudge in a useful direction.

Steve
