Hi,

first of all, hello to everyone here Very Happy !

My Minibrute encounters the apparently not-so-unknown problem of noise being thin and grainy after having connected a CV/gate sequencer, in my case the Korg SQ-1 with CV -> pitch and gate -> VCA Crying or Very sad .

Firmware updates had no effect whatsoever. Arturia offered me a new digital board for a reasonable price, but I don't want to do that unless I can be sure that actually fixes the problem and, equally important, it won't happen again when I connect the sequencer again.

Does anyone have an idea which component most likely is faulty? I doubt it can be a big issue since everything else works as it should.

I'd be really grateful for any helpful advice Smile. Any info such as 'at this point you should have so-and-so many volts, and the oscilloscope should display this wave form' would be very, very useful.

I do have the schematics, as well as multimeters, oscilloscope etc.
