I'm patching out my sound lab and I noticed on the MFOS website it has been updated to show where to hook up the S&H. But what if your pacthing? Should I just use 1 input maybe 3 cv outs, the trigger and the pot of course. Are the number of ins and outs personal preference? And should I do the old 1k for for output 100k for input

thanks

I'm not quite sure what you're asking... Are you talking about where to send the S/H's CV output in the SoundLab?

I haven't built this one, but usually you would patch a noise generator to the SH CV input, an LFO to the SH clock input, and then its CV output would be a randomly generated voltage you could patch to an oscillator, filter, vca, etc. That's how you get those classic android sounds.

But I think this SH is a bit different.

Sorry for being confusing. What I'm trying to do is: I'm making my panel
and I'm leaving room for a ring mod and the S&H which I plan on building later. Ring mod I got figured out. in, carrier, out. I'm just wondering what I should leave open for the sample and hold.

1 input, 1 cv output, 1 trigger output and the rate pot
or does it make sense to have more than one cv out
just kind of looking for a suggestions since I've never used one
