Another chance at a solid editor for the Andromeda Subject description: Patch Base for iPad |

As you may have seen in my other thread, I have an A6 on its way to me this week. With the shipment on its way, I have been lurking this forum looking at the various options for editors and librarians. I wanted to alert the rest of you about an app that I use on my iPad which supports various editors in a really slick interface, but currently does not support the A6. It's called Patch Base and I really love it for my DX7II. Completely changed the usability of what is traditionally a very hard to program synthesizer.
Currently, the developer is planning editors for a large variety of vintage and modern synths, and the A6 is included in that list. However, currently he does his development based on demand, which he determines through a voting system on his website. I had reached out to Chadwick earlier this week to see if there was any way to put it closer to the top, but being that it's near the bottom of the list he did not offer any options.
This is where we can (hopefully) make a difference. I know there is a pretty active user base for the Andromeda, and there have been many attempts at creating an editor that is not only usable but good looking as well. I think Patch Base would make the ultimate interface for the A6 if only we could convince the developer that there's a demand for it. So, now I ask that each and every one of you vote for the A6 to bring it closer to the front burner.
The editors costs $20 each, which I know isn't cheap, but it's pretty worthwhile if you ask me. Also, if you have the cash to buy an A6 you are likely not strapped to spend $20 on something that will open up a new world of possibilities for this amazing synthesizer. Even if you don't want it, please vote anyway to help out the rest of us You can vote by following the link below:
