The tallest Lily, a 'golden Splendour', has now reached a height of roughly 130cm and flower buds are starting to appear.
I am curious how the timing is going to be between the different varieties, the Lilium Flore Pleno (Tiger lilies) and 'Mister Pistache'
don't appear to have flower buds yet but the 'Golden Splendour' might take longer to develop.
edit: correction; on closer inspection the 'Mister Pistache' Lilies do actually have some flowerbuds forming

It always makes me a bit sad when the Pulmonaria (Lungwort) is done flowering though it was nice that it kept going for quite some time this year.
But now the leaves are starting to get larger again and it does have gorgeous foliage as well. It's not really in the best location for a shade
loving plant as it does get blasted with the full fury of the late afternoon sun, which can get quite hot at this time of the year.
It usually responds by going limp but once the sun is gone and it had a fresh drink it perks right back up.
The Hellebore that's in the same pot behaves similarly but has already produced a bunch of new leaves so I guess it's doing ok.
The foxgloves that are in a container next to it and get a lot more shade are also doing well, with some of the leaves measuring about 20cm.
I am not expecting any of those to flower this year but the larger they get now, the better the changes that I can get them though the winter.
I also planted one in the pot together with the Henbane and that one also appears to be happy.

I am actually not sure if I've seen it in the wild either. It is possible that it was part of a seedmix as I've had those (and still have)
for both bees and butterflies, but I am pretty sure it appeared in the same year as I grew that so it couldn't have self seeded yet.
I did see a happy bumblebee on it today, which also visited some other plants incl. henbane, foxgloves and dwarf goat's beard

Petunia is recovering from its recent haircut, a couple of strawberries are starting to ripen
and buckwheat has lots of tiny white flowers which results in more happy bumblebee noises.

Nigella orientalis is starting to get flowerbuds and the dwarf goats beard is getting beardier which also results in happy bumblebee noises.
On the day that the foxglove dropped its last flower a smaller flowerstalk on another plant started opening up.
Dahlia Red Skin II isn't getting very large (compared to the two other monsters) but has slowly been putting on some more foliage.
The Hosta is also staying small so far but I don't mind that at all.

The tri-cotyledon sunflower has grown up and is now producing multiple flower heads. (I counted 5 so far)
Lion's Tail has also started to pick up in size and is now ±40cm. Judging by its leaves it's actually Leonotis nepetifolia not Leonotis leonurus.
I am not expecting flowers this year but it's possible. It can be grown as a perrenial and even an evergreen but probably not in this climate.
As a matter of fact I will have to keep an eye on it during autumn/winter as it is not very cold resistant.
The Lillies have still grown a bit, with the tallest at ±150cm but most of the energy is now being diverted to the flowerbuds,
which are slowly starting to change color.
