Hello, i always used Reason (i stopped with Reason5 tho) to make music, and i always wanted to make everything from scratch, and often record audio samples i made with objects.

now i want to completely change style, and i'd like to make something entirely made of samples of other songs.

what is the best software fot this? also, the best software price wise? i was looking at ableton live but i'll be able to buy only the lite version (or a bundle with some hardware, but what should i look for?) i need to learn almost everything and i don't even know if a mpc or something else could be useful.

i'd like to take the sample, edit it, sync it with the other samples and put it in the tracker, or in a timeline of some sort, to make my final track. i'm not used with live stuff.

thanks, and sorry for how noob i am Embarassed

Hi Deva,
For Sampler plugins at low/no cost I use Tx16wx. Its free unless you want the pro version but I think with free you can still load saved programs inside your DAW.
Regarding DAW (your sequencing software that will host plugins, soundfiles, MIDI etc) maybe FruityLoops? I believe its free.

Best,
-M
