I was thinking of simplifying Ray's VC reverb circuit as a simple line-level spring reverb driver (I already have the right tank and don't need voltage control.)

Would the following modification to the circuit work fine for line level (e.g., mixer aux send)?

i was thinking something similar a while ago, for the two tanks i keep here in prison.

i would put R8 (200k) in question,
as u would divide the previous amplified (factor 161?) by 3 with the last stage,

u using the last stage mainly to bring the signal "back into phase",
may u just leave out R8?

C11 forms with R9 and R39 a HPF with a fc of 15,4Hz
C27 forms with R40 another HPF @ 72,3 Hz

the first is also used to divide the signal down by ~10

both are also used to block out DC offsets and prepare the signal to be processed by the 386, which is single supply operated

i leave the calculation of the other two hpf after the 386 to you Smile

as reverb springs have typical "frequenzy response" between 300 and 3000Hz that may make sense as it is

but u could also try to use just one HPF, may with lower Fc?
And/Or use for the signal division the first opamp stage by using 10k for R24

iam not shure why the input signal has to be divided down by ~10 and then is reampified by 161 which adds noise

i would try not to divide it down and ampilfy it by only 16?
