NM G2 midi modules to vst synth plug in

Hello everyone,
i'd like to ask for an advice:
working in Ableton Live,i wonder if i can control u-he diva vst synth midi program change via the external Clavia Nord Modular G2.
My aim is to make automation in Ableton so that i can change Diva's patches by sending midi program change messages to it.
I was not able to do that with internal ableton functions so i thought of NM G2 midi possibilities.
First thing i put some patches into the dedicated folder for midi program change in Diva vst synth.
After that i started making a NMG2 patch with a midi CtrlSend and a midi PcSend module connected,setting both midi modules and vst on the same midi channel,placing the vst synth in an ableton strip,the nm g2 input for ableton in another strip,putting an input signal to ctrlSend then moving around the pcsend program knob...but nothing happened....
