Hi,

I want to start using the sustain and expression capabilities of my G2X. Are there any particular expression and sustain pedals that work especially well alone or well together with the G2/G2X? I have been looking at some Roland pedal models (EV-5 and DP-10). Any advice you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Gregory

I'm not sure about its use for the G2, but the EV5 by Roland is pretty good. It has a longer "sweep" than lesser pedals.

And it _is_ compatible with the NM Classic, so probably ...

Thanks for your help and instrument intelligence. I think I will get an EV-5 right away. I saw online that several vendors recommend it for the Nord Electro and Stage models so I think that I have a good shot at compatibility. I also saw on the Clavia site that they recomend the EV-5 and Proel pedals for the Electro instruments and report that the Yamaha expression pedals don't work well without modifications

Thanks again,

Gregory
