Hi Tim,
I am still after the fx of 2 interacting springs and have found this webpage where a java simulation software is running..
Do you have any idea how to translate that into a g2 patch?
would be quite a hack...

http://electro-music.com/forum/post-33333.html shows a way to implement differential equations, also look at mergerov's patch at the bottom for a different approach.

The 2d spring examples use square root and division, see http://electro-music.com/forum/post-31440.html for that.

It's quite a bunch of equations to implement indeed.
