Help with sound.

Hi,

Can some one help me create a patch on a G2 ( or G1) Nord Mod to model this sound please ?

I've posted for help on the Nord mailing list and someone pointed in the direction of FM. But I still don't have a clue where to start. I've also downloaded some FM based patches but none end up sounding anything like this.

Sounds like a ocilator followed by something that resonates (some delay or filter) with carefull tuning?

Without too much fine tuning, its a bit like two detuned square waves. Close inspection with a wave editor shows that one of the squares has been high pass filtered, this minimises the wave cancellation you get with beating square waves.
