hey...
i work on this small groove box.
and i have some sync problems.
maybe u guys can help me a little bit.
for moment i did 2 variations...
the problem is, when i change to another variation, the sync
become out of control. u can hear it when u change the variation.
when i use the on/off button on glockGen... and start again the sequencers, then the sync is fine.
what i did wrong.
thanks and greetings
dirk

The problem is the changing clock divider (its 4 in a variation and 1 in the others). Unless your timing is perfect and you change the variation right on the downbeat, then you will lose sync. What I do is I put a downbeat circuit which fires a seq reset after 16 beats (its essentially a 1/16 clock divider followed by a s/h which holds the next variation and fires a sync on the downbeat - after the variation change). See BCBydro_DZ prf2 in the soundset - Slot A patch uses variation changes on downbeat.

I tend NOT to change clockdividers between variations or I use the above trick .

Even more annoying is that when you change the sequencer loop length it immediately goes to step 1. Imagine I am on step 6 and my sequencer loop is 16. I should be able to change the loop to say 12 if the current step is < 12. Nope, current steps immediately goes back to 1.

I think Dasz is poinjting here to one of the factory preset performances he made. When you deleted those from your synth or otherwise don't have that patch you can download the factory presets from the Clavia site.
