Subject description: Working on new sounds
Reply with quote  Mark this post and the followings unread

I've been spending the past week or so trying to get to grips with my Hartmann Neuron. After spending some real time trying to understand what I'm doing, I came up with some sounds, which I am including here. This is entirely <neuron>, no external effects or EQ.

I have to say I like this instrument more and more as I play with it.

Anyway, this is just a bunch of noise, really. Sample it if you want to hear Neuron sounds. None of this is stock Neuron though, except some of the models I used were included in the V4 Neuron model set, but they were unused ones. Next task is to make my own models, from some of my old samples and Model Maker.

really nice demo. is this the hardware neuron or the VS?

my VS won't run on any of my new intel macs.. so i've bought an old mac mini that i'll get monday which will run just the neuron.. very excited to have it back after 6 months of not being able to use it.

the VS just makes me want the hardware version... if you have the hardware version do you find it to be reliable? any issues with it?

care to sell it ? Very Happy

nothing else sounds like the neuron, that's for sure.

Yes, it's a hardware Neuron. No, it's not for sale.

oh yeah I wanted to add that Denis appears to be working on some new stuff - you are checking the De fact Neuron site for updates?

I hope that all the Neurons get some kind of support. I am still worried about mine dying, the support is hit or miss.

I just found this thread. What a great sound that Neuron has! Thanks for posting this.
