LOL...
Ive always been more guided to the dark side of music, often not scary but dark with overtoners or horror and a subtle blend of psychoticism. Then again growing up with the likes of black sabbath, Iron maiden and metallica doesnt help... |

oh you'd have to try pretty hard to get that label here.
there are folks around here who admit to listening to their washer/dryer run.
there's even one guy who sampled his toaster running and is currently time stretching it and he thinks it sounds pretty cool. I'm not naming names. _________________ *****************

I have been thinking about doing a halloween jam (like the friday the 13th special),
so I definitely like the idea of having a halloween stream party.
I have to think a bit about what I will be doing and for how long
(aaaarghh more stuff to do). So I'll get back to you on that.
do we have to dress up for the party ? _________________ "My perf, it's full of holes!"

There you go guys, we could make it our Annual event here at EM... an annual online concert so to speak. Im glad so many are interested in this, I thought I would have been the only one interested in this.
One thing I have noticed since I joined this site was the wealth of great artists and what better way to showcase that than an online concert for halloween one of the best holidays of the year. My favourite. |

So......... I'd like to know if other people would like to stream on Halloween night ? Sunday Oct. 31st | I suppose some of my recent stuff has elements of dark ambient in it in spots. I'll give it try.

I think I'd like to participate. I think I could make something haunting. _________________ Garret: It's so retro.

Good Luck phobos, I just finished mixing my set today, Got it down to an hour so that should fill a good part of the schedule. |

It is good to see the enthusiasm for this upcoming event. I am looking forward to hearing what people are working on. As for me, last night, I was just testing my streaming setup, and ended up doing some stuff that I hope will develop into an improvised set for the 31 Oct event. It was kinda dark--and a little spooky in spots.

I look forward Steve to hearing what you have got. As everyone knows by now, I work in Ambient, mostly Dark Ambient so this event is special for me too. I love halloween, my favourite holiday.
I look forward to this great night of top music and creativity across the board with all the unique and talented people on here.
It should be a great night and hopefully it becomes an yearly Event here on EM.
Good luck to everyone taking part, and I hope it all goes well for myself as well as everyone else.
Darren. |

Cool! Good response for this!
We are now approximately around a 6 to 7 hour event... around 2.5 weeks away.
At this point... I need to know if people want to do this INFORMALLY or FORMALLY
which basically means........
Do you want an informal event, where people take turns streaming when they are ready, without a schedule and set times?
OR
Do you want a formal schedule with times?
Either way is fine with me... I can whip up a schedule pretty fast. Or we can go informally, and maybe pick up some more of the less formal streamers that might want to participate.
But I do need to include that I may not be around for the whole event, as we may go out for a while that night. Just depends on when things start up online though. _________________ ElectroCasa |
