Alien Spoonbending

something I recorded last nite. I used the Alienator as a zero input mixing device, but I also had the simple sampler recording it's output and feeding
it back to the input (not sure if this still counts as zero input, although it's basically just a long delay Wink

) I hooked up the Lun-A-Key to the Soundbender,
which is a modulator based on a XR2206 chip, and used the modulation source of that (triangle wave) to create a droning sound. This was then fed
into a weird UAA180 based waveshaper I breadboarded (a bit similar to the 5 pulser) and there was some extra (chorus + reverb) effects added to
the output of that. The waveshaper was modulated by a random voltage generator with an extra capacitor added to the CV input to create a gliding
effect. I also hooked up my RGB shroom synth for some pingy sounds. The Lun-A-Key was controlled by midi data I received from Blue Hell, which is
(partially) generated by the chat, and I used that to control the simple sampler and delay time on the alienator aswell.

I will post some longer bits later but here's a short section that also included some samples/loops. Cool

That is really awesome. The Zontar mix vaguely reminds me of some droney bits from My Life in the Bush of Ghosts, though maybe that's just the distorted vocal samples Wink
