Very Happy

Hi there.
I have been working on the panel layout for these 2 diy pcbs, that I ordered from Hex a while ago. Rather than have two separate single modules I have decided on a double size panel (200m wide by 250mm high).
When I finished the controls layout on corel draw, there was a space free under the Jupiter Storm sockets, I have wanted to use the midi to 8 triggers Elby pcb that came out the old version 1 yellow drum synth (new drum synth has a midi to 24 triggers pcb) and it fitted the space perfect Smile .

Some build pics of the project so far ......

Dave.

Moons Vca's ....

I wanted an extra cv input for each vca amplitude control, there is 1 input on the pcb for each Vca, so I got the multimeter out , set to continuity beep and I traced vca numbers 1 and 2 cv inputs through inter connects & via holes back to a respective 100K resistor for each input , then simply hook n solder another 100K on the opposite leg from the traced continuity path leg.

Soon be ready to test / calibrate the Jp Storm & moons section , the elby midi to 8 triggers is still to transplant onto the panel after I have the main two going.

Dave Smile

Finished & calibrated, Yay Smile

zero problems building this one all work a treat , the Jupiter storm is making different styles of crazy noise / the AR/VCA's are set up now and working great & the midi to sds 8 trigger is firing on all the white keys C1 to C2 on my korg X5 by midi cable.

I have the expansion ports on both Jp Storm & Moons connected, this normalises via switching jack , main noise to VCA 2 & Xor noise to VCA 1 when nothing is plugged in to the audio inputs.

A pic of the front after calibrating.....
I will get some demo sounds up in a few days Smile

Dave.

Here is a quick jam using the Jupiter storm & moons with sequencer trigger firing AR1 & VCA 1, plus a little bit of slow lfo to cv in 2 , osc 3 on the JP storm is barely modulated by an ADSR, & cv all gets a vc-lfo , the output of the vca goes through a delay module with the time & feedback set short.
I knocked together a simple beat to twist the Osc tuning dials & cv amounts to Smile Smile , im loving the sounds.

Dave.
