Nomad on MacBookPro not working |
 |
|
Hi there
I am trying to get Nomad on my MacBookPro to work (without success so far). I copy the Nomad log below. It seems that there is a problem with Midi communication..
I have Mandolane installed which does work ok (Midi in/out according to the test app that is included).
Any idea how to get this to work?
Thanks.
B.

Hello pixelmechanic,
That is great news. Can you post your configuration: Java version, macos version, midi interface. This info may prove useful in the future.
I suppose that you tried the latest release not the CVS version ?
Cheers,

Hi Julien
Here's the info you requested...
Mac OS: 10.4.11
Java version: 1.4.2_16
Midi Interface: M-Audio Midisport 4x4
Nomad Version:0.2.1 (Current)
I've also got a small question... would I need to compile the cvs version or can that be downloaded as a jar also?
Cheers

Thank you for the info.
Unfortunately, there is no available distribution for the CVS version. So you have to compile it yourself. If you want to do so contact me I'll forward the instructions, they not yet on the developer website. Another point on the todo list...
The next release is very close anyway. |

Hi pixelmechanic
What problems did you get when you tried using Mandolane? If possible, we'd like to address these issues.
