Thank you all, guys |

Finally home after nearly one day on flights and airports. I would like to give a big thanks to all of you who organized the meeting in Kingsport; Howard, Greg, the never tired sound engineer and all other involved.
It was a great experience to participate, to meet a lot of new people, to preform and to listen to music. And not at least the friendly and cooperative attitude that i found among the people in Kingsport.
I promised to send a CD to some of you, and got addresses. If there are anymore that want a home burned CD from Analoge Dream Plant, please let me know. No charge, donate some dollar to someone else instead, for example electro-music.com.
And I do hope we meet again.

Thank you again, Per, for covering the White Room sound so my son Jeremy could play bass in the Noise Jam while I ran the Stream! It was very nice to meet you!
I was setting up my performance in the White Room which came just after yours in the Theater, but if you'd like to send a CD to me, I would love to hear it. A prerecorded copy of "Ordinary Machinery" that I performed this weekend is here, and the thread that got that particular ball rolling is here.

I am, in fact, tired today! Yesterday's drive to Pennsylvania did the trick.
Take care.

Thank You All - From Rinse,Repeat |
 |
|
This is mike from Rinse,Repeat. we had the best time with everyone in Tennessee the past few days. The whole weekend was a blast. electro-music Fest '08 was packed to the brim with performances, jams, incredible inventions, demonstrations that hit home to many or all, and of course the good times.
Thank you all for making it out to participate in the experimental madness. I really learned more than I thought possible in one weekend.
Information Time...
1st - Paul is getting together for an online live jam for the winter solstice. The only problem we have is how to synchronize all of the midi instruments to run off of one clock for the performance. Does anybody know how this could work?
2nd - I am going to go through all of the new and old electro-music fest audio recordings and begin to cut them into sets and songs for a radio stream that everyone can listen to. Howard is going to help me get started. Things will be pre-recorded for the first couple of weeks, but in time we hope to get live radio shows going. This way anyone can be routed on to the audio feed from their own studio system.
I am starting two new discussions about the winter solstice jam and the radio stream so if anyone has ideas about the midi synchronization, wanting to participate, or anything at all we can discuss it there. |

Hey, Per, the CD arrived last week, so exciting to receive a nice little package from Sweden! I popped it into the car CD player on the way to pick up my wife at the Philadelphia airport, and it kept me moving through all the fast traffic! I kept it re-playing all week on my way to work. I especially like the Island Suite Final Mix, and the nods to Coltrane-era jazz in Misty and elsewhere. There's another, slower number that I really like, not sure which one. Guess it's time to listen again!
Nice meeting you, and thanks for the CD. Have a good autumn.

Hi,Thanks for those nice words.
Since my visit to the synth-meeting I have made contact with some of the guys behind the annual swedish festival i Norberg. There might be some chance to preform There next year, I hope.
This autumn I have made theater music. It is quite a feeling to sit in the back of the theater, and play it loud to anaudience and see how it cooperates sith the words and the acting.
If I remember it, I can send you some more music as it grows in the studio.
