My mostly MFOS modular is almost done:

Posted Image, might have been reduced in size. Click Image to view fullscreen.

MFOS modules include:
3x VCO
2x ADSR
2x LFO
1x SVF
1x Dual VCA
1x Noise Cornucopia
1x S&H

There are few a other DIY modules and a MOTM kit in there too. The strip in the middle is a mult/bus. The connections in the mult are ABCDABCDABCD etc... instead of AAAABBBCCCC... to make it easier to distribute signals.

I made the case out of african mahogany.

Thanks Ray!

Thanks!

Yes, that's right. The switches can also AC couple the left to the right.

We had a "big knob" discusion here http://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/topic-1830.html

In it I mentioned this comparison Large Alco Knob Comparison The images in the comparison aren't scaled but I'm guessing the OP used the biggest Alco knobs that are 1.77 inches in diameter (PKES150B1/4)?

Thanks, the wood sort of glows, so I wanted "fiery" colors Twisted Evil

On the VCO's, I used the Davies #1120 (probably a cheaper Alco lookalike); they're 1.75 inches in diameter and I think I bought them from allied. The LFO knobs are a little smaller.

Panels are from Front Panel Express, but I designed them with FrontDesigner. I did a writeup on how to save money by doing this here:

Using a slider for the coarse tune is probably not the best idea for stability, but I thought it would be fun Very Happy

Niiicce! If you'd care to share any of those FPD files, either here or the ModularSynthPanel group at Yahoo would be an appropriate place Wink

are you using standard instrument rack rails horizontally? that's a pretty great idea - way cheaper than t-struts and less hassle than dealing with nuts & screws for them.

Yup - my thoughts exactly. The only trick is you have to be really careful with your measurements. That is one reason I left a gap between the two rows for the mult panel.

I'm assuming then that this strays from the standard MOTM screw hole spacing?

Sorry, I don't mean to detract from your great work on the modules (impressive indeed). I just thought that the rails were worth asking about.

The 6U panel for svf-adsr-vca is already posted in the other thread I mentioned. Since multiple people have asked for the Krautrock phaser panel, I'll upload that too. Price is $38. Of course you may need to adjust hole size diameters to suit your pots, leds, switches, etc...

edit: Credit for the design of the phaser panel should go to "Bill and Will":
