Tonight's Adventures In Sound will feature the same setup as the last episode and may or may not end up as a continuation of 'the sound of walking backwards into infinity'

and here's the recording

mostly ipad doing addictive synth, animoog, and samplewiz (vocal fx and mellotron), with a bit of ipod doing curtis, nlog and pasy02, with boardweevil 2012 and a touch of kaossilator, all run through monotron and pandora px3 into dd-20 for looping

So for this episode I ended up using mostly samplewiz and a bit of addictive on the ipad and proloop, toplapapp and curtis on my ipod, with some boardweevil and kaosillator thrown in too. Samples in samplewiz included a metal pipe, printer, hand dryer, sonic screwdriver, toplapapp, voice, tap water and so on

Tonight's episode of Adventures In Sound will feature experiments with CP1919 and other weird iPad apps run through my new Clacktronics Wasp Drive filter

This episode was noisy ambient and featured the return of the rather chaotic Postcard Weevil, joined by the BoardWeevil 2012, some weird pitch shifted inter-modulating loops in ProLoop and lots of noisy samples from Samplewiz loaded with processed thundermaker, struck metal and glass sounds and other such stuff, towards the end it gets nicer for a while, with some nLog and Addictive, before returning to chaos Wink

I think this site has really had a big influence on me over the years as my current stuff really is 'experimental electro-acoustic and electronic music' Smile

Enjoyed the "Noise from the Darkness" set. Great work Jez. Seems like some later electronic music compositions of mine are also leaning towards drone and experimental as well.

Thanks for your contribution

Thanks, had hoped I might be able to pre-prepare an episode but life has been hectic...

Tonight's AIS will just be 2 iPads, wasp filter, px3 and dd-20 and might end up as a rather experimental mixed bag, or not Wink

Thanks guys Very Happy

It went pretty well, we both recorded and hopefully even though there were some issues with the stream I should be able to stitch something together from both recordings

I played boardweevil and ipads, using android fx, space, h.fbk, igendyn, samplewiz, alchemy, animoog, modaxis, photonoise, nlog, wavegenerator and addictive

I have no idea what Rob played, but it sounded excellent to me Smile
