I was just introduced to what I beleive to be the most thorough and USEFUL "DIY" magazine. It is published by Tim O'Reilly, the same publisher of all those wonderful GNU, Linux, and other open-source related manuals & materials.

http://www.makezine.com/

It's printed like a book, and has excellent step-by-step instructions & detailed photos for all of it's projects.

Spread the knowledge, this also makes a great bathroom reader!

Paul I've been a subscriber since the first issue. I love this mag for the creativity of the articles alone.
I went to the First & second Makers Faires too. They were fun.
