Just looked with no luck
Subject description: Can't find a G2 expansion board in the US |

Just did the online search on all the music sites I could find in the US for a G2 Expansion board and no luck. I thought I had some luck cause Novamusik had one showing at least on their site - I placed my order then got a very nice call telling me I didn't notice the line "Pre Order" and they didn't have them in stock either. I guess I'm out of luck. Has anyone had any luck recently in the USA?

I was going to say that Thomann in Germany do ship to the US (since I got an expansion in a shipment from there yesterday), but looking at their availability meter I now see that it has dropped from full to zero. Looks like I got the last one.

I just ordered one from musiciansfriend last night. today it's not even listed on their site anymore, so I called to make sure my order went through. they have a small shipment coming in next week, but after that they won't be getting any more. Luckily one of those that are coming in is reserved for me... I think I got the last one! (seeing as it was removed from the site after I ordered it)

I emailed the UK distributor yesterday in the hopes of finding one. Fingers crossed.
Edit: BTW, Thomann are showing a date of 18.12.2008 for new stock of the expansion board!

They're not, but that place is showing "Out of stock" and "DISCONTINUED This product has been discontinued and is no longer available." anyhow.

I'll be paying full price, but I think it's worth it - especially if they're not making any more.
I've been regretting not buying the expansion for my Korg Z1 since they became near impossible to get.

Definately worth it. I had planned to buy a Blofeld when but changed my mind and got the expansion board, some new headphones and saved some cash instead.. was absolutely the right decision for me.

Good idea, and there is no need to do so either. In you private profile you can check the option to receive email and this can then be sent to you by people using the email button below your message or from your public profile. In this case your email address will not be visible to the person sending you an email until you choose to reply that email. When you've enabled this option it might be a good idea to tell people about this as the forum buttons seem to be overlooked a lot.
Apart from that the PM system can be used of course, for which no email addresses are used at all.
