duo pantoMorf video on YouTube - G2 & G2 |
 |
|
Finally got a video of duo pantoMorf up on YouTube. Free impro on two G2s playing the same patch (we only use one patch in the duo, for almost three years now...).

Enjoy!

Intense! Thanks for sharing.
My mind starts reeling, thinking about how that patch is made up. But it's fine that you don't share it, because I can never read those patches anyway.

Yes, nice work as usual
The comments over there on youtube are pretty uneducated to say the least.
I use your tools that you created for the G2 all the time.

Thanks! Yes, someone has rated youtube comments as the lowest expression of the human (lack of) intellect. I just decided not to answer them, because I don't think they're even interested in anything but their cemented views. If someone asks me politely, I'm happy to explain how things work, but if they just say, obviously without any inside knowledge, that something is worthless, I don't bother.
But feel free to reply, you guys, if you feel like it
We filmed more than that material, and I have a longer take, with more expressive, slower playing, that I hope to edit during the summer. Will keep you posted.

We have a CD out, called "antiforms". Should be possible to find, also on iTunes. Everything we record is "live material" in the sense that it's one take, no edit, no overdubs. But the album (and this video) is studio improvisations, no audience. Some live snippets on the myspace page, though. We have plenty of concerts recorded, just for documentation.
Yes, we have visited Univeristy of Victoria in Canada, last October. SF, NY and Buffalo will be next March. But that's not Canada...

wauhhh! Many thanks for sharing this.
I'm deep impressed from this fantastic piece of electronic freejazz -
from the finetuned emotional warmness and richness of rhythmical variations. I want more, more ...
Now i'm just listening your "Blues" from Antiform, what i found here:
http://www.podfeed.net/podcast/Tarans+Free+Jazz+Hour/6956
(starting from the 10th Minute).
If you plan an european tour, it would be very nice to see and listen
you in Munich also.
Your playing on the m-audio interface is also very nice, but why do you prefer this?
Just because of the weight advantage compared to a G2-keyboard?
