Very pretty panel! And congrats on the build completion!

Also I can't help but notice the MIDI clock in. Nice touch.

I designed it, Schaeffer (FrontPanel Express) engraved it.

I used Marc Bareille's midi2clock as well. Haven't had time to test it in the klee yet. I'll try tomorrow and report to you asap.

if you don't mind me asking. how much does a panel that size cost? they don't have a mac version of their program so i don't see how to upload a design to figure out prices with them.

you panel looks great by the way. i like the lines you have running with the line of switches.

The panel cost 160€ (225$). I've made an aluminum frame that supports the slider pots and that one cost 40€ (56$). I paid 209€ with the shipping costs.

I'm also a Mac user, I'm using Parallels wich is a windows emulator. Or u can use Bootcamp. Parallels with win XP is just what u need to use their program, u can have a quote and order directly from the application.

I think there's a thread on EM with some tricks to reduce the price of a panel. Try to reduce the elements to the minimum (for exemple the BUS1, BUS 2, BUS3 text under the midi connector is just one object and not three), avoid the colouring option (u can do it urself with a paint stick), etc

hope this helps,

You may want also to look at Crossover, which doesn't need Windows at all.

I haven't used Crossover, as I was stupid enough to buy Windows to run in VMWare. Razz

thank you for the suggestions on a work around for the mac issue and telling me the price. i have several larger panels laid out and i was wondering about the cost. it seems like many people use that service.
thanks again,

That is fantastic looking! And a better looking motm format one than mine (not hard to do).

FPD doesn't work in crossover. I run it in Xp running inside vmware fusion on my macbook.

That's an expensive panel - mine is about the same size, but only cost about 165$. I wonder if those long cuts for the sliders made the difference.

Very nice man. I think i'll go for the sliders myself. I've got two built klee boards but for the life of me can not make my mind up on layout. Very nice mate, very nice.

Very Happy Very Happy
