Last week I finally got into the Klee and wrote a software Klee. Then Jan told me about the already existing G2 Klees, and I thought about making a distribution zip file so people could check out the Klee before buying boards from electro-music.

But wait, We've got awesome documentation, schematics, and the best demo of all: Klee music! So I'm bundling all of this stuff together into a big zip file and I'd like to ask you for contributions to the Klee Stuff zip file.

Unfortunately I can't just wade through the nearby thread "A Collection of Klee Musics" because I need your permission to distribute your work. That's why I write these little threads occasionally to get people to contribute some music to a worthy cause. Please realize that whatever tunes you post to this thread will be included in the distribution zip file.

Also, on another "note", I'd like to feature your Klee songs on Friday night electro-music internet radio. If you would also like your music to appear on the radio show, please mention that it's OK. Your work will be broadcast over the net, recorded as a show, and posted to the Streaming Radio forum.

Thanks for your contributions,

Les

You could use any of my stuff, Les. I'd send you a CD, but I probably couldn't get it to you before Friday.

Lemme think about it - I have a few posted......

Cheers,
Scott

Scott, if I do a Klee show, it will not be for a while, so no hurry. I have no CD player but my mom's Mac has one so I can get the songs off of it that way. Or electronic transfer is best. Either way you like.

I have a few. Here's one (there's a video that goes with this one on vimeo and youtube):

zimmifrl by sduck409

This was the first one I did, some hours after first getting the thing hooked up -

oha noha by sduck409

I think this one was the first one I did that used 3 voices -

osseekouzzi by sduck409

Hope this format works for you - you may need to click through to the soundcloud site to get the files - I'm not really up on how that works.

sduck,

I enjoyed all three tunes, the third being my favorite. Unfortunately SoundCloud wants me to register to download the files, which is one more straw on this camel's back so to speak. Is there any way for you to post the mp3's as attachments? I'd appreciate it if you could.

Les

You're free to excerpt any of the Ephemera shows where the Klee is prominent. There's 48 hours of material there now, and that doesn't count 2 NYE, the SS and AE shows, and a couple others posted around here and there. I'm not sure I could recommend anything in particular but there must be something in there you could excerpt.

I had probably covered most of Scott's Klee tunes on my show already BUT it's worth playing them again Wink

Thanks! Here's that last one....

Oh, and it's fine if you want to broadcast this on the radio show. For proper credit if it happens, I'm Stephen Drake.

Edit - I just noticed the "audio files" link over there on the left in my profile - I should have noticed that before! There's access to one more track there of mine if you're interested.

here are two samples from me (taken from my soundcloud account and as posted in the klee musics thread). i don't think they are worth to be broadcasted on hte e-m-radio, however you can do with them what you want to (exept making an aweful lot of money by sampling the sounds and incorporating them into a topselling super hit Wink ).

a live recording of a spontaneous demonstration of the klee2 and my all DIY modular at the annual german modular synth meeting HK2009.
