I have some panel artwork that I've done for a couple of my DIY projects. Optimally, I would like to have the artwork silk screened onto the panel rather than go the usual engraving, laser, etc route.

Anybody here equipped to silk screen? I would pay whatever is a fair price for the job, of course.
Alternatively, does anyone know of a silk screen outfit that is willing to do very small numbers (aka one-offs)? Any info is greatly appreciated.

I'm also interested in this. I have dozens of panel designs that I'd ideally like silkscreened. I currently use lazertran.

Just the silkscreening? Or do you need panels drilled and painted/coated as well?

The setup cost for silk screen is generally prohibitive for one-offs. For my Eardrill stuff, there's a roughly $100 setup cost for a run of panels.

Dougster,
Just the silkscreening. I have a drill press, so drilling the panel is no problem for me.

I was thinking maybe 3 or 4 panels could be squeezed onto one screen-- is that possible? I'm not too familiar with the logistics of screening. I've been using lazertran-- and getting pretty good results-- because I can't afford $100 panels. But $25-$33 is doable. Any takers?

Yes. Screens come in a variety of sizes. I typically fit eight MOTM-sized panels on the screens I use. Of course, that means I wait until I have eight designs before I print anything...

You could ask Ben Marshall if he'd be willing to do other formats than .com but he started doing silk screening.
