I find nothing in the manual about Patch Gain. What does it do?

It's a very simple comand: the general level of the final sound.

You can verify this very simply: open the oblong which is foisted off on the right brim of the screen on the editing page: tap this to make a sound and then modify the value of this command.

Thanks for bringing this up - I'll make sure Patch Gain makes it into the next version of the manual.

It is important to note that the Patch Gain object is a bit strange: it is the very last thing the synthesizer does to the sound. So even though it is in the Filter / Amp section, which is in the middle of the graph, it performs its functions at the very end of the graph.

I put it there so it was part of the Amp group... hope that made sense to people.
