Syncing the clock generator to midi

Hello everyone,

I think the answer is, I'm outta luck, but I thought I'd check here in case anyone has a work around.

I'm hour one into my new G1. I was looking through patch archives and a lot use clock generators which set the tempo. I thought I might be able to quickly grab a global midi module and somehow sync a ClkGen to it.

I assume I just can't, that I need to grab a midi module and replace all cables coming from the ClkGen. This is fine, but can be time consuming with complex patches.

If I'm assuming wrong please let me know if there's a work around. I would love to load up patches that have no midi module and quickly get it in sync with Ableton.
