Penn's Woods I with Music

This piece Penn's Woods I with Music is my follow-up to a video I created for a visiting composer Jenni Brandon's Dark Sky Movement of her Death Valley Symphony performed by the Kutztown University Percussion Ensemble and Choir on two nights in early April, 2024.

For Dark Sky I had to use photos from the National Park Service, our school's licensed Adobe stock, and some other open sources because, although I have hiked in California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada, including some remote desert, I have never been to Death Valley.

I wanted to do a video for Pennsylvania, especially because we may follow our kids and move to Albuquerque in 2025, hence Penn's Woods I. The visuals are new using my photos. The music is acoustic & processed 5-string banjo 49th Winter from the autumn 2009 Electro-Music Equinox webcast. I made the video first and dug through the archive for my music that fit the tempo and texture of the video.

Here is a silent link to my Dark Sky video, which Jenni is using with my permission for other performances. Somewhere there is a video recording of the second night's performance at Kutztown including the percussion ensemble, the choir, my projected video, and the audience. From what I understand it needs editing. I should have "taped" it myself.
