Hi all

I am making a very basic instrument using a 40106 and body resistance instead of a pot. I would like to use a second oscillator on the chip but when I do this, if the same person touches the body resistance points on both osciallators, the sound stops. I am guessing there is interference from the person across the two oscillators. I have tried adding diodes in here but it has made no difference. Would anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Not sure where you got to on this, but the 4060 seems to be more tolerant to body touch/interference in general. There's a few circuits floating around dubbed the Octavian or the Sensinth
