ART OF INFINITY – The Art of Cinematic Audio - Part 2 | Release date: October 17, 2025
ART OF INFINITY presents part 2 of their new remix album
25 years after their debut album, ART OF INFINITY present a special remix version of their complete works. “The Art of Cinematic Audio” consists of two parts with a total of 55 short pieces of music taken from the four albums released and given new titles.
The German music project was founded in 1996 by Thorsten Sudler-Mainz and Thorsten Rentsch and released four albums between 2000 and 2012, which were released by BSC Music on the Prudence label. Highly acclaimed by the press, ART OF INFINITY achieved a Pink Floyd-inspired, unique fusion of art rock, ambient and pop.
Music by ART OF INFINITY has been used several times in TV documentaries on German television, which led to the idea of presenting the essence of the music in compact tracks in order to bring it closer to editors on the one hand and to lovers and friends of high-quality hi-fi productions on the other.
The creativity displayed by the producers in collaboration with some illustrious guest musicians in the studio can be heard in every sequence of this surprising release.
With “The Art of Cinematic Audio Part 1+2,” the timeless beauty of ART OF INFINITY's soundscapes shines in new splendor.
After their first and so far only concert in 2012 at the Bochum Planetarium, founders Thorsten Sudler-Mainz and Thorsten Rentsch had ceased their activities and put ART OF INFINITY on hold.
The two remix albums are now intended to pay tribute to the first phase (1996-2012), before brand new material from ART OF INFINITY is expected to be released in 2026.
